Privacy Policy

Overview

Word Forge is an offline word puzzle game. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data stays on your device.

Data We Collect

We collect no data. Word Forge does not:

• collect your name, email, or any account information
• transmit any data over the internet
• use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services
• contain third-party SDKs that track you

Data Stored on Your Device

The app saves the following locally, only on your device, using the device's standard storage (WebView localStorage on Android, WKWebView localStorage on iOS):

• Game progress — your current in-progress game so you can resume it
• Statistics — games played, words found, best scores, longest word
• Preferences — difficulty setting, whether you've seen the tutorial

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Permissions

The app uses haptic feedback (tile taps, word submissions). On Android this requires the VIBRATE permission; on iOS it uses the system haptics and requires no special permission. No data is accessed or transmitted in either case.

Children's Privacy

Word Forge does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in a future version, the updated policy will be included in the app update and posted here.
